The Olympus GF-UM160 is a radial scanning echoendoscope designed for detailed endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) examinations of the upper gastrointestinal tract. It is a critical diagnostic tool for staging cancers of the esophagus, stomach, and pancreas, as well as for evaluating submucosal lesions, cysts, and lymph nodes with high-resolution imaging.
This instrument combines high-quality endoscopic video with advanced ultrasound capabilities, allowing clinicians to visualize the GI tract lining and see beyond it into the surrounding tissues and organs. The GF-UM160's design supports precise maneuvering and control during complex diagnostic procedures, while its instrument channel is suitable for performing fine-needle aspiration (FNA) for cytological analysis.
